Xiaojun est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e de l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts du Hubei en 2006 (Wuhan, Chine) et de l’Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure d’Art de Nancy en 2012 (DNSEP). Elle vit et travaille d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 Lyon.<\/p>\n

Quelques mots de Xiaojun sur son travail :\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Noir et blanc, plein et vide, visible et invisible. Mes travaux s’attachent \u00e0 une recherche constante sur leurs relations et leurs compositions. L’emploi de diff\u00e9rents modes et th\u00e8mes de repr\u00e9sentation permet d’exhiber une large palette d’\u00e9motions qui peuvent toutes se rapporter \u00e0 la th\u00e9matique du Corps et de la Nature. Selon Laozi, \u201cla Voie est le chemin \u00e0 suivre pour acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la Vertu. En tant qu’objet, la Voie est absolument vague et ind\u00e9finie, mais dans cette ind\u00e9termination elle poss\u00e8de une forme et une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 certaine\u201d (Tao T\u00f6 King \u00ab Le Livre de la Voie et de la Vertu \u00bb, chap. 21). L’existant et l’inexistant cohabitent ainsi en permanence dans mon travail dans une dialectique infinie.”<\/p>\n\n

Xiaojun graduated from the Hubei School of Fine Arts in 2006 (Wuhan, China) and the National School of Art of Nancy in 2012 (DNSEP). She now lives and works in Lyon.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

A few words from Xiaojun about her work:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘Black and white, full and empty, visible and invisible. My work focuses on a constant research of their relationship and composition. The use of different modes and themes of representation allows to exhibit a wide range of emotions which can all relate to the theme of the Body and Nature. According to Laozi, ‘the Way is the path to follow to accede to Virtue. As an object, the Way is absolutely vague and indefinite, but in this indetermination it possesses a form and a certain reality’ (Tao T\u00f6 King ‘The Book of the Way and Virtue’, chapter 21).
