February 2024 programme

February’s programme at L’Alcôve, with some not-to-be-missed events:

– The beginning of February will mark the end of “L’Owl cove, l’antre de la chouette“, the group exhibition bringing together the 9 resident artists of our Galerie-ateliers. It’s a must-see at L’Alcôve, so don’t delay in discovering the new works of :

Alice Sauvage – Arthur Varenne – Barbara Lerch -Margot Nassiet – Maïe Alexandre – Nicolas Badout – Sébastien Ferraro – Sophie-Kim Touras – Valérie Simoncelli

Mosaic – Illustration – Drawing – Painting – Kirigami – Photography – Pyrography

On view until Saturday 3 February 2024.

– The second event this month is the solo exhibition “Le Goéland“, by Marc-Antoine Petit. It runs from 07 to 24 February. The artist invites you to discover his latest creations. It’s a turbulent flight into his world, where daydreams, alchemical symbolism, social issues, philosophical and spiritual questions all come together in a taste of maritime décor and old-fashioned adventure comics.

Come and meet the artist in person at the preview on Thursday 08 February 2024 from 6pm at 15, rue René Leynaud, 69001 Lyon 1er.

– From 28 February, the gallery will be showcasing “POP Mosaic, le réel revisté par l’imaginaire“, by Alice Sauvage alias ALSo, the very first solo exhibition by this newcomer as artist-in-residence at l’Alcôve.

So to discover this emerging artist and celebrate the rarity of the leap year, you can already add the opening on Thursday 29 February 2024 to your diary!

On view from 28 February to 16 March.
