Artistic agenda
April at L’Alcôve
On the programme in April at L’Alcôve: two exhibitions and a private viewing!
Until April 17, discover Paul Ward’s exhibition ” Feed the pigeons” as a big “fuck you”, a burst of laughter in the face of cruelty, an explosion of vibrations to try to put the power back where it should be. From politicians to polluters, from arms dealers to heartless industrialists, “Feed the pigeons” will help you point the finger at the culprits while laughing behind the other hand. Feast your eyes on Paul Ward’s paintings, drawings and other works.
From 21 April, you can see the group exhibition “Ochre” by our seven resident artists. Featuring various artistic techniques, you will discover, during this collective exhibition, the range of nuances that the colour ochre has inspired. By gathering around this common theme, the artists have sought to offer you an aesthetic unity of their works, without losing the authenticity of each of them.
The resident artists are organizing an opening on Thursday 21 April from 6 to 9 pm with Xiaojun Song, Margot Nassiet, Barbara Lerch, Adrien Ribet, Sophie Kim Touras, Sébastien Ferraro and Valérie Simoncelli.
